Dear tear,

as troubling as that may sound to most of us - but isn't it the natural tenor of things for parents to die before their children?

As a consequence, it may be essential for us to get familiar with the idea of our parents not being here anymore - and to prepare ourselves for this time as good as we can.

Because if you think it through - if the death of our parents would make our very own lives meaningless, what would be the true sense of our lives at the first place? If you haven't found one so far, better try to find it in time.
And if that feels like a hard thing to do, discuss this topic with a good friend you trust, or if there is no other way, with a counselor, therapist - or regarding this particular question, maybe even with a philosopher. All of that can potentially help us to look and think much farther than our very own ways of thinking would allow us to do.

kind regards,
